Withdraw before the event
In “My basket”, on the right of the tournament page, click the bin on the entry concerned. The line is struck through and the basket says what will happen to the place; “Keep” undoes it. Then press “Confirm”: your place goes back to the waiting list, and the next person is told.
Once the event has started, the basket no longer allows it: tell the scoring table to declare a walkover.
What is refunded
If you paid online, the refund is requested together with your withdrawal, and the basket shows it before you confirm. The club decides, and its rule is on the tournament page: it refunds the whole entry, or deducts the share that goes to Tocpoc. The refund goes back to the card or account that paid, in the club’s name.
A place confirmed for payment at the counter has nothing to refund as long as you have paid nothing.
If the club cancels the tournament
Every player entered is told in their language and refunded. Only the payment provider’s fees, which the provider does not return, may be deducted.
Remove your player profile
Withdrawing from a tournament does not delete your profile. To remove it, do so from your space: a profile that has never played disappears, a profile that has played loses your name, and results already published stay without it.
